ABOUT US
The Italia Conti Associate School Reigate was opened in January 1995 to fulfil the needs of a professional training on a part-time basis. It’s aims and goals are to put in place the ethos and skills of the full-time Italia Conti Academy and be a wonderful extension of this amazing institution. Our school is open to students from 3 years to 18+. Classes take place at the weekend on both Saturdays and Sundays for 3 ten week terms per academic year.
Saturdays are currently run in age-group Performing Arts Bubbles where our students train in multi-genre disciplines including Ballet, Tap, Acting, Jazz/Hip-Hop, Street Dance, Musical Production, Singing, Contemporary and LAMDA.
Sundays are for Graded syllabus classes in RAD Ballet and ISTD Tap where students study for their exams. We are so proud of our students who continually gain brilliant exam results.
Our Principal, Janine Eaton, prides herself on the excellent level of technique, performance skills and professionalism that is taught from the very youngest of classes and carried on throughout the school.
Our staff are highly trained and qualified. They have the student’s well-being at heart and are encouraging, disciplined and hold an enhanced DBS along with being Licensed Chaperones.
There are many great performance opportunities with Italia Conti Reigate, including a full scale Performing Arts show in the Summer Term, a Spring Drama and Gala/Cabaret event, a Charity Christmas singing concert, professional Fringe Theatre shows, an annual Summer School Show and more.
For our senior students we offer personal mentoring and guidance, career advice, audition tuition and preparation for full time performing arts courses in a variety of schools, universities and colleges.
Every year since we have been open, students have gained scholarship places at leading Independent Senior Schools, full-time Conservatoire training places, Degree course places and an array of fantastic opportunities in the world of Performing Arts.
Our Alumni scans across the world of dance, theatre, film, television, radio, play-wrights, authors, teachers, choreographers, directors and even includes and ‘Olivier Award’ winner.
As well as providing performing art’s training, we like to ensure our students and their parents feel part of our family and we have a strong ethos of working together, supporting each other and learning in a kind and nurturing environment. We want our students to develop high self-esteem, good confidence and the ability to follow their hearts and succeed in their chosen path and career both in the Artistic world and otherwise.
We are committed to providing an environment in which our pupils can be trained to develop and broaden their skills to their individual highest possible standard. We have a great community spirit at Italia Conti Reigate and give pupils the opportunity to express their individual personalities.
Miss Janine holds strong beliefs in natural beauty and encourages body positivity and a feeling of self-worth in all of her students. She is invested in giving her students the best possible experience of both training and performing and is always there to both listen and help and to guide them in their future.
